Terms of Service & Privacy Notice

Legal terms, data protection protocols, UK GDPR commitments, and teacher verification mandates for KS2 Command (AI Teaching Assistant).

Last Updated: 21 October 2026•Governing Law: England & Wales•Version: 2.1-UK
CRITICAL CLAUSE: AI Hallucinations & 100% Teacher Responsibility

Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer: All worksheets, curriculum resources, retrieval starters, report statements, and work-marking analyses generated by KS2 Command are produced using probabilistic generative artificial intelligence (Google Gemini). AI models can occasionally produce hallucinations, factual inaccuracies, grammatical variations, or inappropriate contextual responses.

Mandatory Classroom Covenant:

The subscribing teacher, educator, or school is 100% responsible for inspecting, reading, and verifying the accuracy, pedagogical appropriateness, and safety of all AI-generated content before it is distributed to pupils, displayed on classroom screens, or used for statutory assessment.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By registering an account, purchasing an AI Basic or AI Pro subscription, or accessing the KS2 Command software (operated at aiteachingassistant.xyz), you enter into a legally binding contract governed by the laws of England and Wales.

You warrant that you are a qualified primary school teacher, school leader, trainee teacher, educational support assistant, or authorized school representative aged 18 or over.

2. Pupil Safeguarding & Input Restrictions

To uphold statutory safeguarding and UK GDPR standards, users agree to the following data input rules:

  • First Names & Initials Only: Users must ONLY enter pupil first names or first names with a single surname initial (e.g., “Liam M.”). Never enter full surnames, home addresses, dates of birth, or pupil unique reference numbers (UPNs).
  • Photographic Material: The Work Scanner tool is strictly designed for scanning anonymised pupil exercise books, worksheets, and printed test papers. Never capture or upload photographs containing children's faces, school uniforms with embroidered crests, or identifiable personal imagery.

3. Fair Use Policy, Daily Safety Ceilings & Debouncing

To prevent abuse, server overload, and unintended billing from impatient double-clicks, all accounts are subject to automated rate limiting and generation ceilings:

10-Second Anti-Duplicate Debounce

All generation requests are enforced with a 10-second debounce window to protect teachers from being double-charged or double-counting quota during network latency.

150 Generations Daily Ceiling

Both AI Basic and AI Pro plans enforce an uneditable safety ceiling of 150 resource generations per calendar day (resetting at 00:00:00 midnight) to protect against script runaway.

4. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellations

Subscriptions are billed in British Pounds (£ GBP) through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the specified monthly or annual frequency unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Teachers can cancel their subscription at any time with 1 click via the Customer Billing Portal in the Dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle. No retroactive refunds are provided for partial usage periods.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, KS2 Command, its creators, and hosting infrastructure shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, pedagogical, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the platform, including any discrepancies in pupil assessment judgments or curriculum coverage.
